What are your thoughts about the hygiene standards at hawker centres in Singapore? What can be done? What can we do to help improve standards of hygiene at these food stalls? Let's discuss.
the hygiene standards there must be very very bad since it could even kill people ! we should throw litters in the dust bin since spreading rubbish could attrect more rats and cause more food poisoning.e should also look at the hygiene rating before we eat at a food stall or a restaurant , if the rating iss d or below it would be better if you avoid that retaurant
I think that some hawker stalls are clean but some are unhygienic.I think they should clean their shop regulary and spray the insect thing to prevent insects and pest from coming.
after we eat the chicken we should not throw the bones ever where as it may attract rats. we should put the bones on the plates and then call the auntie who clean the table to clear so tthe rats can be prevented
i think that hygiene standard should be good.the hawker can employ more people to clean the insects and to keep the place clean.we can put up poster to inform the public.:)
i think that some hawker centers are clean but some are not. For those who are in the'not clean'group I think they should start cleaning their stall as after the gelang rojak incident many people are going to think wisley about where they buy their food. we can help them by not buying from their stalls to tell them that since they are not preparing their food properly we are not going to buy their food so that they will kepp their stalls clean.
i think that it is not the vendors fault that the incident happened because there was one case caused by the rats in the can drink factory. public should be careful in future and to wash their hands before they eat their food.
hi i am sherry ng xueli i love to eat , sleep , play .and run today is the terror to our class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NAPFA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELLO :D This is Jasmine. I think that the incident is caused by irresponsible and inconsiderate people. In my opinion, i think only stalls which are rated 'A' should sell food only. Since they have good pratice of hygiene. Just to be safe. Make them more careful and try to be more responsible.
I think its bad that two lives were taken because of some rats. But hey dont blame the rats...We are the ones that are invading there home. They lived on this contry once why not again?Plus if the stall owners were more observent this incident woulg not have happened. The stall owners need to be more careful and I think the hygine is bad.:D
I think that the hygiene standard of the hawker in Singapore is only average. The food poisoning should be caused by the neglected germs that the hawker did not bother to clean. We should care more about the hygiene in Singapore. If this become a global problem, the economy of Singapore will come tumbling down.
I think that the vendors are at fault as they should do weekly cleaning in their stalls to ensure that their food and drinks are equally clean and hygienic.
i think the rats should be killed bcause they have killed 2 lives. And i also think that the vendor of the stall should be responsible..he should also have cheked the food before serving it to his customers.
the hygiene standards at hawker centres in Singapore are quite clean. I think the government should clean all the hawker centres frequently to prevent cocroaches and rats.
i think th rats who caused this trouble is very evil as they took away two lives on earth !
